Out of the Office, Near Where the Sun and Moon Were Created
24-Apr-2013, La Paz – I’m heading to Copacabana this morning. Not the beach in Rio de Janeiro, but the original Copacabana, the town on the southern shore of Lake Titicaca which lent its name to the beach in Rio. It’s also the gateway to Isla del Sol, the largest island on South America’s largest lake, where the Inca believed the sun and moon were created. Chasing weak wifi signals in hostel or hotel lobbies isn’t conducive to enjoying and contemplating such a setting, so I likely won’t be on line much for the next three days. In the meantime, please be kind to one another.
