That Fleeting Moment..

Plaza de Armas in Cusco, Peru

.. when it’s you against the world. And you’re winning.

Fleeting is the theme for this week’s WordPress Photo Challenge, which brought to mind this image taken a few months ago of a lone woman standing confidently at the edge of the Plaza de Armas in Cusco, Peru. When she finally decided to cross, the traffic simply stopped. If you’ve ever traveled in Latin America, you know that traffic stopping for pedestrians isn’t a commonplace occurrence.

Can you help me, how do you take this photo?

    1. BobR says

Thanks! It’s long exposure, 3.2 seconds. I didn’t have a tripod but had the camera resting on a railing. Unfortunately there is still a slight bit of movement. Any other questions, always feel free to get in touch.
