Texting on Two Wheels

Has it become passé to complain about people texting when they shouldn’t be? Does it make me a grumpy old man to get pissed off at people who can’t look up from their phones even when riding bikes, driving cars, or simply walking across the street? Then so be it.

While I don’t care much for bicyclists who stare at their phone while riding, I do enjoy panning them. (All bicyclists, not just those who choose to put others in harm’s way.) I found this one in a batch taken nearly two years ago, underscoring how woefully behind I am in getting caught up with organizing and cataloging my stock. I’ve set 11 February, my 50th birthday and when I’ll be setting off on a new project, as my deadline to get caught up. Because, you know, life begins at 50.
