Today’s addition to the planet’s largest repository of blighted mannequins, just the standard sweater-wearing teenager with a chipped neck, mismatched eyeliner and partially missing scalp was spotted in the historical center of Quito, Ecuador, just up the hill from the trendy La Ronda neighborhood. When I saw the display, I turned back immediately.
