By 2050, 20-30 million Bangladeshis will become climate refugees. Most of those already live in a constant state of emergency caused directly by climate change. Rising sea levels are rendering their lands, once arable, useless in the wake increased salinity. In coastal areas, drinking water is becoming alarmingly scarce.
