That’s Mt. Hood, at 3,429m (11,249ft), the highest mountain in the state of Oregon. The reflection is on Trillium Lake, a man-made body of water about 12km south-southwest of the mountain.
I remembered this image today, taken near the Trillium Lake Campground in Mt. Hood National Forest, because I was planning to return this year but that never happened. And because I also planned to process some of the photos made during that camping trip. With the exception of this shot, that didn’t happen either. Definitely next year.
