Today’s addition to the planet’s largest repository of blighted mannequins was spotted in La Paz, Bolivia’s seat of government, right next to this one, featured 81 Monday Mannequins ago, which is near the top of the short list of this project’s most noteworthy. Does anyone know what the penalty is in Bolivia for punching a police officer in the nose and then tying by the neck to a rainbow-haired mannequin?
Are you new to Mannequin Monday, a weekly series that over the past year and a half has taken the internets by storm?
Then I strongly encourage you to invest a couple minutes and catch up here —and here, too, with a special video presentation (rounded out by a killer soundtrack!) I put together to celebrate the Mannequin Monday project’s first year — an entirely unexpected one year anniversary. It’ll all conspire to make your Monday just a little bit better than it already is and to serve as a blunt reminder that your week can and will only get better from this point forward. Again, you’re very welcome. And don’t forget to tell all your friends.
By the way, this image, snapped in La Paz, Bolivia, on 22 April 2013, proudly serves as today’s Pic du Jour, the site’s 731st (!!) straight. When you’ve got a few minutes to spare, you can check out some of those here. And if you missed #700, it’s here. Enjoy!
By the way: if you’re on Facebook and haven’t checked out and shared a little ‘like’ love with my newly rebooted Piran Cafe Facebook page, why not do it now? 🙂 Thanks!
