This is an image of visitors admiring the Serrano Glacier in Bernardo O’Higgins National Park, Chile’s largest and least-visited.
Only accessible by boat and short hike, it’s located about a kilometer from the small dock at Puerto Toro on the Last Hope Sound.
This was taken during a day trip I took on 07-Feb-2013, exactly three years ago, and serves confidently as today’s Pic du Jour, the site, 765th straight.
If you haven’t seen it, I posted a lengthy account of the trip, along with 40 photos and four videos, here. It’s Sunday, so you’ve got some time. Check it out. 🙂
