Today’s addition to the planet’s largest repository of blighted mannequins was spotted near the center of Bogota, Colombia’s historical La Candelaria district, the only mannequin I came across that day with a severely dislocated shoulder.
I’ve had a rotator cuff problem hobbling me since it reared its ugly head about 10 days ago, so I can feel her pain. Too literally.
New to this weekly series?
Then I strongly encourage you to invest just a few minutes and catch up here — just to see if you recognize anyone. And here, too, with a special video presentation (rounded out by a killer soundtrack!) I put together to celebrate the Mannequin Monday project’s first year — an entirely unexpected one year anniversary. It’ll all conspire to make your Monday just a little bit better than it already is and to serve as a blunt reminder that your week will only get better from here. Again, you’re very welcome. And don’t forget to tell your friends.
By the way, this image, snapped on 09-Aug-2015, also serves as today’s Pic du Jour, the site’s 773rd (!!) straight. When you’ve got a few minutes to spare, you can check out some of those here. Enjoy!
these poor Mannequins, how they suffer. ouch.
Oh, my, I’ve been through PT for my knee and now seeing a personal trainer. Looks like she (and you) could use the same for your shoulders…
Yup – at the risk of sounding selfish, I’m a little more worried about my shoulder at the moment. 🙂
Hope you’re getting an x-Ray — maybe a cortisone shot? I was amazed at what a difference therapy made, even tho I whined about it 🙂 This whole getting older thing is for the birds! Feel better soon…
