After another brief pause, here’s the latest addition to the planet’s largest repository of blighted mannequins, spotted on a morning as gray as the whites of its eyes in the Croatian capital a few weeks ago.
There were a couple more nearby that were even more battered and bruised but the shopkeeper chased me away with an equally battered gray umbrella before I was able to get a snap. So please know that I am trying to add to the collection, even under grave threat of bodily harm.
If you missed it, the landmark Mannequin Monday #100 is here, along with a brief consideration of the project and a look at a handful of Mannequin Monday legends.
New to this (almost) weekly series?
Then I strongly encourage you to invest just a few minutes and catch up here. And check here, too, with a special video presentation (rounded out by a killer soundtrack!) I put together to celebrate the Mannequin Monday project’s first year — an entirely unexpected one year anniversary. It’ll all conspire to make your Monday just a little bit better than it already is and to serve as a blunt reminder that your week will only get better from here. Again, you’re very welcome. And don’t forget to tell your friends.
By the way, this image, snapped on 6 September 2016 also serves as today’s Pic du Jour, the site’s 990th (!!) straight. When you’ve got a few minutes to spare, you can check out some of those here. Enjoy!
