Morning Tea Time, Khor al Adaid, Qatar

For the very occasional Saturday Portrait series

Man at a Bedouin style camp in the Arabian desert in Souther Qatar

For the very occasional Saturday Portrait series, one of the gentlemen who worked at a Bedouin camp where I stopped for morning tea after a sunrise drive to the Khor al Adaid, the inland sea that forms a border between Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

A migrant from Sudan, he’d been working at the operation —camel rides and rental also available– for just over a year. I hope he’s doing well.

Today’s Pic du Jour, the site’s 1,170th straight, was snapped near the Khor al Adaid in eastern Qatar on 20 February 2016.
