Cleaning up after an accident, Uganda

I had my camera on my lap and my window rolled down for much of my round-trip drive across Uganda in the waning days of March. Here’s another case where I was glad I did.

This is one of two truck accidents we passed during a five-hour drive from Fort Portal, in western Uganda, to the capital Kampala. But the only one I snapped a few photos of.

Here three men were carrying bags of cement from an overturned truck to another, not far from the edge of Kibale National Park on the Mubende-Fort Portal Road. As far as I know, nobody was hurt.
