Tonight’s sunset over the Gironde estuary from 12,000 meters. Formed by the Dordogne and Garonne rivers northeast of Bordeaux, it covers more about 635 square kilometers, forming the largest estuary in western Europe. It also butts up against one of the finest wine-producing areas on the planet.
It’s not a good picture at all, but it’s the only one I got. 🙂
