For a new series cleverly entitled ‘Mundane Monday’, composed of a selection of mundane scenes which collectively come across (I hope!) as slightly less mundane.
The rules? Only that the videos are shot on Mondays wherever I happen to be, quickly edited and posted by the following day. The goal is to simply use my phone’s video functions more and actually share what I shoot. (Yup, for better or worse.)
Will it be an adequate replacement for Mannequin Monday, the planet’s largest repository of blighted mannequins, a series which lasted 106 weeks, about 105 longer than expected? Well, no. But what could?
These were taken yesterday from a window seat en route to Rabat airport and include, at about 30 seconds in, a brief look at one of worst traffic accidents I’ve ever seen. I’ve never witnessed a car that was so completely crushed. I can’t imagine that the driver or passengers survived.
