For Mundane Monday #2, a day that admirably lived up to its name: rainy and unseasonably cool, perfect conditions in which to begin digging out of the piles of work that awaited me upon return from a six-day break.
I finally made it outside just after 8 for a quick stroll around the central market in Ljubljana’s old town center.
The dragon? One of four that’s perched on the Slovenian capital’s aptly-named Dragon Bridge. According to local lore, it’s said that this dragon wags its tail each time a virgin crosses the bridge. No wags have ever been reported, adding to the city’s tourism allure.
