These are scenes near the village of Dutovlje, in the heart of Slovenia’s Kras, or Karst, region, in the country’s westernmost reaches. It’s also part of Kras wine-growing district, one of four in Slovenia’s Primorksa region that butts up again Italy, the Adriatic Sea and Croatia’s Istria peninsula. Fall is an exceptionally beautiful time to visit.
These photos were taken a year ago last week; since it took me this long to actually do something with them, I decided to make them free-to-use for personal or commercial purposes; the only limitation is that they cannot be resold or redistributed. If you use them in a website or blog, attribution and a link back to this site would be appreciated, but isn’t necessary.
